Provenance: Ulf Cederlöf (1948-2021), chief curator of prints and drawings at the Nationalmuseum, Stockholm. He would have had access to a copy in the museum library, which explais why this copy appears never to have been opened.

 

Catalogue raisonné and expansive treatment of the life and work of rococo artist Francois Boucher. Each catalogue entry includes the origin, provenance, bibliography and exhibition history of the work. With a comprehensive bibliography and detailed index.

 

Ananoff has also published a volume on Boucher’s drawings, ”L'Oeuvre dessiné de Boucher, Catalogue raisonné, 1” (1966).
