Rare exhibition catalogue for Munch’s Stockholm exhibition at Konstföreningen in 1894. The catalogue lists 69 works, including, as number 68, ”Skrik”, i.e. The Scream. The painting had been executed in its original version in 1893 and this exhibiton was one of the first to show it to the public. It is listed as a part of ”Studier till en stämningsserie: ’Kärlek’”, the series of works later to become known as ”The Frieze of Life”. Two versions of Munch’s ”Madonna” were also exhibited (”Kvinnan som älskar”, The Woman who Loves, no 60-61).
